| The TRCF is a 16 channel differential 12 bit general purpose ADC. Its simultaneous sampling rate is software selectable among a number of internal frequencies from 0.1 to 50 kHz and a frontpanel sample clock input. The maximum sample frequency is: - @ 2 active channels, 50 kHz - @ 4 or less active channels, 20 kHz - @ 16 or less active channels, 10 kHz A memory capacity of 256 kWord is available on the module. This total memory is divided among the number of channels used (1, 2, 4, 8 or 16). Memory is also fully accessible (in Read/Write) from the CAMAC dataway. Frontpanel control functions are duplicated with CAMAC commands. An extensive set of CAMAC commands with meaningful Q-responses enhance the versatility of this ADC and allow straightforward programming. |
