This project involved the hard- and software development of a Direction Finder Receiving System for Air Traffic Control Schiphol. The direction finder system collects data received from several ground stations spread out over The Netherlands. The data is then processed and provided to other navigational control and status systems from ATC. The system consists of a fan less CompactPCI rack with a CPU module, a solid state backup and logging system, 24 RS-422 data links and a control terminal.
