PCI Express data acquisition module

INCAA has designed a data acquisition module for the PCI Express form factor. The module is designed to customers specifications for OEM production quantities. It comprises two analog input channels with a programmable input range from +/- 9 Volt to +/- 500 mV. The selected input signal is converted with a resoltion of 8 bits and max. 200 MSample/s. The module operating temperature range is 0-65 C. and the drift is max. 65 ppm/C. Digital frontpanel input signals start and stop the sampling process or synchronise the sampling process to the external world. The digitized data is directly transfered to the PC's main memory by DMA transfers. A sustained transfer speed of 175 Mbytes/s can be achieved.
