15-5-2025: At INCAA Computers, we are the manufacturer of the SFP+ White Rabbit calibration module developed by Nikhef — a compact yet high-precision tool designed to measure and calibrate delay asymmetries in White Rabbit links with sub-nanosecond accuracy.
Our role included all the EMS-tasks required for this project:
🔹 Purchase of the required components
🔹 Production of the PCB and custom aluminium SFP+ enclosure
🔹 Soldering of the PCB
🔹 Integration of the modules as complete units
Nikhef took care of the required wire-bonding process and performed calibration procedures.
These modules play a critical role in ensuring deterministic and traceable time distribution across White Rabbit networks — such as those used at CERN, KM3NeT, and other time-sensitive scientific infrastructures.
This collaboration highlights the value of combining precision engineering and manufacturing with cutting-edge research in networking time synchronization.
